Critical
Mass at Grasping for Hope in the Darkness Tour
Critical Mass is dedicated to bringing
the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ to the youth and young-at-heart.You can find them at www.myspace.com/catholicrock
They are faithful to the teaching Magisterium of the Roman
Catholic Church and we are committed to working together with our other
brothers and sisters in Christ to bring His saving message to the world. We
strive to do this by creating music which is relevant artistically to the current
culture.
Critical Mass would like to encourage other Catholic artists
to strive to continue to improve their artistic skills and with them give
greater glory to our Wonderful God.
Their album Grasping for Hope in the Darkness is a
concept album which is edgy both musically and lyrically, taking on such topics
as pornography, the abuse scandal, neglecting loved ones, the rise of liberal
theology in the church and premarital sex. traces the story of a man who has lost his
faith, his daughter who is an unwed mother and a priest who tries to help them
all. Ultimately, however, the album is about redemption and hope. Featuring a new cover of the
